A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms.

My journey...one that continues...one that is focused on self-care, self-belief, strength, motivation, courage, being in my happy place so that I can simply be me.

Yoga is helping me on that journey and has become an important part of my lifestyle over the past 6 weeks.

WOW! That's what I said to myself this morning after old pics popping up on my facebook memories. Sometimes an old picture is needed to remind yourself of just how much you have achieved.
Yes I've worked hard but my PT has helped me through this journey more than he gives himself credit for! Always keeping me on track and helping me dust off and pick myself up again when the direction of my path alters slightly.

Mindset...6 years ago I completed my Competent Crew on this bad boy...sailed from Palamos to L'Escala, took to the helm whilst taking in the view of the French Pyrenees. I learnt so much back then about day to day sailing, preparation, knots, reefing and how you have to work with nature not against it.
Apply yourself, focus and stay motivated in whatever challenges you set yourself because if you truly put your mind to something you want to achieve you can do it.

Leg day today...getting back into the swing of the gym is tough but very much needed. Lower weights and a focus on form.
