🥇 LONDON YOUTH GAMES CHAMPIONS 2026! 🥇

An enormous congratulations to our Elite Dance Team, who have been crowned London Youth Games 2026 Gold Medal Winners! 🎉

Representing the London Borough of Croydon, our dancers competed against 13 other London boroughs, including the three-time reigning champions, Haringey, and delivered an outstanding performance to bring home the gold medal.

After achieving silver last year, the team returned with determination, resilience and an unwavering focus to go one better—and they did exactly that! Their commitment, talent and countless hours of rehearsals have truly paid off, making this achievement even more special.

This incredible achievement is a testament to the team’s hard work, passion and dedication. We are immensely proud of every dancer for representing both Shirley High School and the London Borough of Croydon with such professionalism, confidence and pride.

✨ Performing Arts Scholarship Residential 2026 ✨

What an unforgettable two days for our incredible Performing Arts Scholarship pupils! 🎭🌟

Our 2026 Scholarship Residential was packed with amazing experiences, including a visit to Madame Tussauds, an exclusive backstage meet and greet with the cast of SIX The Musical, an unforgettable trip to the theatre, West End workshops led by industry professionals, and plenty of time to enjoy dinner and make lasting memories together.

Our pupils represented Shirley High School brilliantly throughout the trip. Their enthusiasm, talent and positive attitude made us incredibly proud, and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful group of young performers as part of our Performing Arts Scholarship Programme.
