STARTER COURSE OPEN DAY – WEDNESDAY 21ST JANUARY

Ready to take your first step into hospitality?
If you’re 18–21, not currently in work, education or training, this is for you 👇
La Salle Starter Course – Open Day
🗓 Wednesday 21st January 2026
⏰ Two sessions: 10:30 or 13:30
📌 IMAGINE Event Space, Hilton Hotel
📍 Liverpool City Centre, L1 8LW
COME ALONG – NO BOOKING NEEDED
👉 Choose a session that suits you: 10:30 AM OR 1:30 PM
🚌 Travel covered Keep your bus/train receipt and we’ll reimburse your travel on the day.
(Please bring photo ID if you have one.

* A FREE, fun, 6-week programme designed to build confidence, real skills and real opportunities in hospitality.
* No experience needed – just willingness to take part

Yesterday, one of our Trustees Gaynor from visited one of La Salle Hotel School’s founding industry funding partners, to catch up and plan exciting initiatives for 2026!

Huge thanks to the NORD team for choosing La Salle as a charity partner, and to & at Nineteen for the kind invitation.

At La Salle, we believe hospitality transforms lives. Students gain hands-on experience in catering, service, business, and horticulture, with initiatives like the Kitchen Garden & Plot-to-Plate program and with the support from NORD, and others we really can start to transform young people’s lives for the better.

🍽️ If you haven’t as yet experienced NORD, what’s stopping you: Stunning design, first-class service, sensational and innovative dishes (some of which use our produce from our kitchen garden) by Executive Chef Daniel Heffy make it a jewel in Liverpool’s crown. And thanks to NORD every meal also supports La Salle, helping provide skills, mentorship, and opportunities for the next generation of hospitality folk.

❤️ Today was all about Gratitude ❤️

Firstly, a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for their dedication, hard work and support throughout the year. Your time, energy and commitment make such a difference to La Salle Hotel School, our Kitchen Garden, and all the initiatives that help transform young people’s lives through education and hospitality.
We loved taking a moment together to enjoy festive treats and hot drinks , a small thank you for everything you give so freely 🎄☕

Secondly, we were completely touched by a beautiful surprise from the wonderful Sewing Ladies Group, who hire our facilities and are such a valued part of our community. Stunning hampers for our Chair Gerry and helper David , what a thoughtful and generous gesture 💐

We truly love having you ladies with us and wish you all a very wonderful Christmas ✨🎄
