We are extremely blessed to have such a generous community.
In the last 2 days we have collected donations of ladders, logs, pallets, pots and pans, crates, bricks, bottles and tyres. We have been gifted trees, camo netting and people's time.
All these things may have been things that would have been thrown away at some point but they will provide such rich and varied learning experiences for our children at South View.
So THANK YOU Crowland!!

Hello Crowland,

We know there are some incredibly generous gifters in Crowland and with that in mind, we are asking for some help please.

We are in the process of setting up our new South View Forest School site and there are various things we need that will make our site even more fabulous.

If anyone has any of these items that they were thinking of clearing out over the Summer Holidays, please get in touch via our messenger and we will happily take them off your hands.

1. Metal pots and pans/ kitchen utensils.

2. An old camping water container, to which a tap can be fitted.

3. Crates of any shape and size.

4. Old metal ladders

5. Old scaffolding boards/planks of wood

6. Tarpaulins

7. Chicken wire.

8. Old bricks with holes in them.

9. An old pond liner or old bath.

10. Old metal spades/trowels/ wheelbarrows.

11. Rope

So if anyone is having a shed or garden clear out, please think of us and we will make excellent use of any donations.

A Farewell to our leavers.

What a special day we had yesterday, as we bid farewell to 38 school ready children.

Our special family afternoon was full of fun and laughter (and quite a few tears) as our families picnicked together in our Hawaiian themed garden.

Parents and children then spent a final afternoon exploring, playing, catching up with their key people and exchanging gifts.

We are truly thankful and a little blown away by the thoughtful gifts given to our staff. Each of our children were presented with a South View preschool commemorative teddy, which we hope will get many cuddles for years to come.

We were treated to a delicious homemade lemonade stand from Kuma's family. What a generous and lovely addition to our afternoon. Thank you so much.

We also had an ice-cream stall which the children loved, after enjoying their own role play ice-cream stall recently.

A special memory video was playing throughout the afternoon for our children to see just how much they have grown, with the additional surprise of seeing our practitioners as babies and preschoolers too ☺️.

We have loved caring for each and every child in our care and as we come to the end of our first year as South View Preschool we can reflect on a very busy year of learning and growing.

We had the Big Top at South View back in 2022 and we’re bringing it back — with 2022 prices! 🎉

Expect a fantastic family evening packed with fun, plus BBQ and bar on site 🍔🍻

We have a limited amount of tickets at £10 each early bird price or £35 for a family of 4. This price will increase when these have sold! Tickets are non-refundable.

All hail our Forest School volunteers.

We'd like to take a moment to say some special thank you's.

Every week, come rain or shine, these three wonderful people turn up to support our children at Forest School.
Together with our staff, they create a wonderful nurturing environment, allowing our children the opportunity to dig for worms, explore the woodland and feel confident enough to climb a tree.
We are so very grateful to have their enthusiasm and breadth of experience on our side as we teach our children about our natural world.

So here's to you Forest School Nick, Chris and Chelle.

Mud, glorious, mud!!

Our annual celebration of International Mud Day was just joyful.
We love nothing more than sending children home who have had the time of their lives 😊

On Friday, with it being such a tremendously hot day, we took refuge indoors, for the children's welfare.

To keep them all occupied and active, we set up an obstacle course, which they absolutely loved!
