This morning, the Bluebell Room had a wonderful time exploring the woodland! Here’s a glimpse of their adventures:

🌷 Climbing trees with lots of encouragement and support

🌷 Discovering Bluebells and enjoying their lovely scent

🌷 Taking on exciting challenges on balance bikes

🌷 Observing and gently holding minibeasts

🌷 Taking turns on the tree swing

🌷 Plus, so much more!

Learning through play really fuels the curiosity of our little ones in such a wonderful way!

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a new practitioner to join the Fairy Bridge Team! 🧚🏼

We need someone available from 9am to 5/5.30pm for at least four days a week (preferably 5 days per week) year-round, with a two-week closure at Christmas.

We’ve spent the weekend at nursery brightening things up!

What began as a simple wall touch-up has turned into a lovely colour addition in the Daisy Room.

We enjoyed it so much that we returned today to enhance the Bluebell Room too! There’s still more to do, but we think it looks adorable! 💕🧚🏼

Wishing you a wonderful day with your loved ones!

This week at Fairy Bridge, we’ve embraced a lovely pink theme with plenty of Valentine’s invitations for fun play. We’ve also enjoyed some baking together to celebrate, because who doesn’t love a tasty sweet treat!

The children really enjoy getting hands-on with making playdough! They love measuring and mixing the ingredients, strengthening their muscles whilst creating a fun batch of playdough.

Playdough has so many benefits, such as boosting fine motor skills, sparking creativity, and offering a soothing sensory experience.

We also incorporate loose parts for the children to explore, tell stories, and solve problems.

At Fairy Bridge, the Daisy Room enjoys daily chances to explore the great outdoors and embark on woodland adventures whenever the day allows it.

The children love engaging in sensory activities inspired by nature. Our peaceful strolls to the woods allow them to listen to birds singing and watch planes passing by.

Outdoor play is not only fun, but it is also a vital part of healthy development. Babies and toddlers flourish as they explore the world through active play.

We hope everyone had a magical Christmas and a Happy New year 🎉

We ended our Autumn Term with our ‘Woodland Wonderland’ - Christmas themed stay and play session within our beautiful woodland 🎄

It was a lovely day and we were very lucky with the weather 🌿

Thank you to everyone that attended and for all of our Christmas wishes, cards and gifts, we were truly spoilt 💜

We are looking forward to creating many more special memories in 2026

🧚🏼 W O O D W O R K P R O J E C T 🧚🏼

Our wonderful practitioner, Hannah B, has been engaging the children in the Sunflower Room with some exciting woodwork activities.

Over the past weeks, the children have worked on a fantastic project, taking their own ideas and designs all the way to building a hedgehog house 🦔

Just yesterday, they loaded up the trolley and ventured into the woodland to find the ideal location. They did an amazing job, and we can’t wait to see what creative project they come up with next! 🌟

🧚🏼 P U M P K I N S O U P 🧚🏼

The Sunflower children have had a wonderful time planting seeds and watching the pumpkins grow in our vegetable patch. They recently made delicious pumpkin soup, adding in a few extra ingredients along the way. The children actively participated in the cooking process and observed how the soup transformed in the slow cooker.

Growing and eating our own healthy foods brings many benefits, including:
