🌟 Here’s the whole Kick Start Art team! 🌟

I’m incredibly grateful to now have such a wonderful team of volunteers around me. Their support will help make Kick Start Art more sustainable and, hopefully, allow us to continue growing and reaching even more children.

We’re already busy behind the scenes preparing for our next project Cakes! 🍰🎨

🎨 The Kick Start Art Roaming Exhibition has reached its final destination! 🎨

After travelling around Crediton - from the Library, QE Upper & Lower, Redlands Doctors’ Surgery and the Crediton Farmers’ Market, to Arts in the Park at Newcombes Park - the exhibition is now heading to Lord’s Meadow Sports Centre for its final two weeks!

A huge thank you to everyone who has hosted the exhibition and helped us celebrate the wonderful creativity of our local children. 💜

If you haven’t seen it yet, now’s your chance! Come along, take a look and celebrate our young artists before the exhibition comes to an end. 🌟

Two more weeks… let’s make the final stop a great one! 🎨✨

🎨 WELCOME TO THE KICK START ART VOLUNTEER TEAM! 🎨

We’re delighted to welcome Glynis Harris to the team! 💜

Glynis is a retired local headteacher and will be helping Linda with School Outreach & Engagement — visiting schools, delivering assemblies, sharing our latest creative challenges and, at the end of each project, helping us celebrate the children’s achievements and successes. 🏆🎨

Having someone else to share the school visits with is fantastic support as Kick Start Art continues to grow, and we’re so pleased to have Glynis on board!

Welcome, Glynis! We’re looking forward to creating lots of happy, creative moments together! 🌈✨

🎨 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗢𝗪! 🎶

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow, Saturday 15th August, for a fabulous day of creativity, music, performance and fun in Newcombes Meadow Park!

There’s something for everyone, with:
🎪 Circus skills workshops
🥁 Drumming with Drum Devon
🎨 Loads of creative art workshops
🌺 Big Paper Flowers, Mini Gardens & Treasure Islands
🎭 Scratchworks Theatre’s Mushroom Show
🎤 Live music from local singer-songwriter Jessie Hampson
💙 A special performance from the Ukrainian Choir
🛍️ Craft stalls, food and lots more!

And don’t forget our wonderful Kick Start Art will be there from 12-2pm with lots of fun creative activities to get stuck into! 🎨

Come and join Kick Start Art for a morning of drawing, doodling and getting creative! 🌈

Create your own colourful, energetic characters inspired by Keith Haring.

🌀 Turn a Blob into Something!
Start with a blob… then use your imagination to turn it into anything you like!

✏️ Draw Yourself!
Have a go at creating your own self-portrait — it doesn’t have to look exactly like you!

🌟 Meet another member of the Kick Start Art Volunteer Team!

This is Graham… my husband, Runner & Chauffeur! 🚗🎨

Behind every school visit, prize-giving assembly, exhibition and event is someone carrying boxes, loading the car, setting up displays, collecting supplies and making sure I get from one school to the next with everything I need.

Graham is always there to lend a hand, often without anyone even realising. He’ll happily trail around after me carrying everything, help with whatever needs doing, and somehow still keep smiling!

Quite simply, Kick Start Art wouldn’t be what it is without his quiet support, encouragement and willingness to muck in with absolutely anything.

Thank you, Graham, for being my biggest supporter, my greatest helper and an invaluable member of the Kick Start Art team. I couldn’t do it without you. 💚
