Peterpan playgroup Copthorne

Peterpan playgroup Copthorne Welcome to Peter Pan Playgroup. We are a charity run preschool in the heart of Copthorne village for children age 2-4 years.

We offer a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and develop. At Peter Pan we have a workshop environment enabling children to have choice and promote independence whilst meeting the curriculum of the Department for Education for the Early Years Foundation Stage of Learning.

Lots of sensory fun with herby playdoh this week 🪴

Playdoh is excellent for fine motor development! All the rolling, kneading and cutting helps to build up hand muscles in preparation for writing

The children got very creative making pizzas, ice lollies and lots more

The best start to a Monday morning when Blaze the local legend of a cat came to see us! We would have loved for him to stay for the day but wasn’t sure he’d be as happy when 26 children arrived 😂😻

A few days late but this was how the beginning of the week looked!

Just a polite reminder that is going to be 25 degrees tomorrow so please put sun cream on your child before they come to Preschool ☺️

It was wonderful to see so many of the children who have recently left us to go to big school. They all looked so smart in their school uniforms! Thank you for joining us so we could show you all our new garden ❤️

New book hot off the press 🔥 The children loved having story time in the garden this afternoon ❤️

We’re back!!!

We are so proud of all the children. They showed inner strength and resilience when coming into a new environment or a place they haven’t been to for 8 weeks and got stuck in with all the activities we had on offer.

Bring on tomorrow for more fun and games ❤️

Our amazing new garden is now complete 🎉 Playsafe Playgrounds

The project wouldn’t have been possible without the help of so many people and organisations!

A huge thank you to our lovely parent Abby's PeterPan Playgroup Fundraiser who has worked so hard organising a number of fundraisers and to all our amazing parents who supported them.

We would also like to thank Worth Parish Council, Mid Sussex District Council, Copthorne Village Hall, The Coop in Crawley Down & the Copthorne Santa float

We cannot wait for all our little ones, old and new to start enjoying it next week ❤️
