A big shout-out to one of my students who passed her Grade 2 Guitar with Merit last week! 🎸🌟

From regular practice to tackling new challenges, she’s shown real dedication and musical growth. Results like this don’t happen by accident – they’re earned.

Congratulations on a fantastic achievement!

🎸 Quick question for all beginners!

I’m thinking about launching a weekly live beginner guitar class in the new year on Zoom — designed to give you consistent progress each week (without overwhelm).

Each live session would include:

👉 Smoother, faster chord changes
👉 Real strumming patterns that sound musical
👉 A simple song or riff you can play straight away
👉 A practice plan for the week
👉 Replay if you can’t make it live
Before I build this out, I want to see if there’s interest.

Would you join a weekly live beginner class?

Just comment “interested” or drop an emoji below 👇
The more responses I get, the more likely I’ll run it!

Thanks 🙂 James

Hey everyone — I’ve been chatting with a few beginners lately who said they keep freezing or leaving big pauses when changing chords… and it totally kills the flow of a song.

If that sounds familiar, I put together a free 15-minute video lesson and PDF guide that shows my simple 3-Step Chord Flow Method — it’s the same daily fix my students use to play smoothly between chords (even if their fingers used to get stuck every time).

It’s free to download here 🎸👇

If you’ve been trying to get your chord changes smoother but can’t quite make it happen, this will help massively.
