Learning is Fun - Primary Tutoring

After over 8years of tutoring I have decided to stop my tutoring business. In September I will have a full time Year 6 teaching post and need to focus on that.

It was the Easter Holidays 2016 I started tutoring, I didn’t think then that I would be doing it for 8years! I have had a great time teaching so many wonderful children, I think I have taught just under 100 children over the years, some just for the summer holidays and some for many years. To see them all grow with their confidence has been a pleasure and hearing stories of how well they are doing in high school is great.

This will be my first summer holiday not working so I am looking forward to lots of beach days (weather dependent!). I wish all my families a wonderful summer. I have contact details of other tutors, for those who would like them. Best wishes to all x

Tutoring Update:
I hope home schooling is going ok and you are all having some quality family time. Even though some children are starting to go back to school, the Government says it is still not safe to have people from outside our household in our homes. When they say it is safe, I will start tutoring from my house again but it will probably be only 1-1 sessions and no groups. I imagine this will now be September. If, in the meantime you would like a half hour maths session via FaceTime or WhatsApp Video call, then please get in touch and I’m sure I can sort something out. It won’t be my usual playing games and lots of resources to move around but hopefully it will be helpful.

A Tutoring Update:
We are planning to move into our new house at the end of this month and I’m looking forward to tutoring in a lovely room with direct access to the garden for some fun outside learning.
Saying that, tutoring has now stopped until after the Easter holidays, but the time of starting again will depend on the ‘blip’ going on in the world. When up and running again I am hoping to add more sessions so some children can come off the waiting list.
