Is your child struggling to connect with peers? I give parents the confidence and tools they need to support their children’s social and emotional well being.

Empowering young people to find their own community and reach their potential; using evidence based social skills programs to build friendship and emotional regulation skills. Many neurodiverse kids and or those who struggle in social situations find the unspoken rules of friendship overwhelming and that can leave them feeling isolated. I blend evidence-based strategies, neuro-affirming practices,

Maybe the real question isn’t “Does my child need this?”… but “Why wouldn’t I give them this?”

We spend so much time worrying about grades, and screen time…
but the things our children struggle with most are rarely academic.

It’s the quiet skills:
managing emotions, handling “no”, solving problems, staying flexible, making friends, bouncing back after disappointment....

These are the skills that shape who they become -
and yet, they’re the ones children get the least support with.

So here’s the honest, slightly uncomfortable truth:

If we don’t intentionally teach these skills, the world will teach them instead.
And the world isn’t always gentle.

That’s why Thrive Community exists - a soft, supportive space where children learn the skills that make everything else easier with parent reinforcement at home.

Enrol for the next session , June 8th.
Virtual Sessions.
Mondays after school.
School Years 2–7.

So before the week runs away again, ask yourself:

Is my child enrolled?
And if not… what are we waiting for?

Maybe the problem isn’t screen time… maybe it’s wasted time.

After school, children have hours of potential - hours that could shape their confidence, their friendships, their emotional strength.

But most of that time slips away without anyone noticing.

Not because parents don’t care.
Not because children don’t want to grow.
But because no one has shown them how to use that time in a way that builds them up.

That’s why this community exist.

One session.
One story.
One conversation.
One moment where a child feels seen, heard, understood, and capable.

And slowly, the wasted time becomes meaningful time.
The quiet hours become growth hours.
The after‑school drift becomes direction.

Our next cohort begins June 1st.
If you’ve been wanting something more intentional for your child - something gentle, supportive, and genuinely developmental - this might be the right fit.

No pressure.

Just an open door.

If this resonates and you want to explore the June cohort, I’m here.

Comment June and I will send you more info.

This needs to be pinned everywhere♥️♥️
Simple but powerful!
This is a great reminder for us adults, too. We could all use fewer URLs and more IRL.

The best parts of childhood have never needed WiFi.

More adventures. More laughs. More real life. That’s the upgrade.

No guilt or perfection - just small, hopeful steps towards a healthier childhood for all our children.

Sometimes the biggest growth in a child’s life doesn’t happen in school.
It happens in the quiet moments…
When someone listens.
When they feel understood.
When they realise they’re not the only one figuring things out.

That’s what we create in our Community — a space where children & young people can learn to handle challenges, build confidence, and strengthen friendships through stories, conversations, and encouragement.

If you’ve been thinking about giving your child a space like this, our next group begins June 1st.

No pressure.

Just an open door, and a place where they can grow at their own pace.

If you want more details, I’m here.

After school, many kids fall into a default setting that isn't serving them

Not because it helps them grow — but because that's what is available.

But some children get something different.

A room (even a virtual one) where they’re seen.

Where they learn to solve problems, handle conflict, build confidence, and make real friends.

A place where they don’t just pass the time — they are becoming.

A shift.
A choice to trade passive hours for meaningful growth.

If you want your child to do more than fill the afternoon…
Give them a space where they can thrive.

New sessions begin soon.

Belonging is waiting.

Myth
“My child doesn’t have friends, and that’s okay - they don’t want or need friends.”

Reality
That’s not accurate - and it excuses us from helping them. There must be a story behind a child saying they don't want or need friends

Likely reasons
Many children give up because they’ve learned others won’t accept them or that socialising feels unsafe, as they don't know how to

What helps
Small, supportive practice builds hopeful expectations: curiosity, listening, brave attempts, and real connection.

What can you do
Book your child in our online social skills group to help them discover the "how to" to making and keeping friends

If your child struggles with friendships, you’re not alone.

At the Social & Emotional Skills Academy, we teach children and young people:

➡️how to join in
➡️how to read clues
➡️how to manage overwhelm
➡️how to build confidence
➡️how to make and keep friends

Gently.
Joyfully.
At their pace.

If this sounds like what your child needs, send a DM today

Some possible clues indicating your Child Is overwhelmed, not misbehaving could be

➡️They walk away
➡️They shut down
➡️They interrupt
➡️They get silly
➡️They say something unexpected

These aren’t “bad behaviours.”

They’re signals.

When we decode the signal, we can support the child.

No shame. Just skills.
