In 2025, the Moon will have several notable conjunctions and occultations with the Pleiades star cluster. Here are the key events:​

January 9, 2025: A lunar occultation of the Pleiades will be visible across the Americas, Europe, and western Africa during the early evening hours. ​

February 5–6, 2025: The First Quarter Moon will pass in front of the Pleiades, causing an occultation observable from the western third of the United States shortly after 1 a.m. CST. ​

March 5, 2025: A conjunction of the Moon and the Pleiades will occur, with the 42%-illuminated Moon passing close to the star cluster in the constellation Ta**us. ​
