Two years ago ECO provided funding to allow Michael and other aerospace students the opportunity to travel to the USA. During his time out there, Michael was fortunate to visit Purdue University, engage with students out there on their work and was able to go flying. He was also able to provide examples of his work to the students and faculty during the visit.

The trip was so successful that a partnership has been set up between the two universities, and the hope is to set up student exchange programme and work jointly on aerospace projects.
