Attendees heard from leading aerodynamicists including:

🏁 Paula Garcia Ruiz – Senior Aero Science & Technology Aerodynamicist – Alpine F1 Team
Paula covered Aerodynamic Theory, which included learning more about the Reynolds number, Bernoulli principle, Strouhal number and boundary layers.

🏁 Dominic Harlow – Deputy Technical Director – FIA
Dominic gave an insightful presentation into aerodynamic regulations used in F1, as well as trackside applications including downforce levels, car balance and ride height implications.

🏁 Marco D’Isanto – Aero Performance Engineer - MoneyGram Haas F1 Team
Marco explained measurement tools and techniques used by aerodynamicists on aerodynamic models.

Amongst some of the changes, cars will feature:

⚖️ Weight reduction – cars will be 30kg lighter, resulting in improved efficiency
🟢 100% sustainable fuel
