Weekly Musical Theatre class in Coventry CV1

Three very exciting terms:
🍂AUTUMN TERM🍂
- Our first MT filming project -
🎥 The Prom 🎥
A musical theatre project filmed on location with songs/scenes from The Prom, Heathers, High School Musical and Hairspray! All students will receive a copy of the film to use for reels and auditions.

🌸SPRING TERM🌸
- Contemporary Study -
🇬🇷 Mamma Mia 👰🏼‍♀️
An intense look at the musical, rehearsing songs and scenes

☀️SUMMER TERM☀️
- Legit Study -
👩🏻 Thoroughly Modern Millie 👩🏻
A study of the style of a legit musical both physically and vocally.

There will be a showcase at the end of July to show what we have produced as a company together to friends and family!

As always we will audition and cast everything to give our student as much practice in auditions as possible.

All taught by our wonderful faculty of staff who trained and worked professionally within the industry.

LOCKDOWN LEARNING GOALS: Feb 11th

We’re so excited to welcome for an ‘Industry Talk’ with our wonderful Wing It Academy company on Feb 11th!
We are studying Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this term and the students get the chance to ask questions and chat to Scott, who was in the UK Tour! They’ll be learning about the show itself, training and what the theatre industry is like to work in!

Scott’s credits include: Made in Dagenham, Nativity the Musical, The Addams Family, Seussical the Musical and Eugenius!
We’re so excited for the session!

POSTPONED: Due to the current climate leading up to Christmas, we have come to the unfortunate decision to postpone.
We are sorry to say we are postponing this class, but we are looking forward to rescheduling in the New Year with some exciting additions!

All those who registered interest will a formal email to confirm the postponement and will have priority booking on the rescheduled class once confirmed.

Wing It Academy open for Spring Term enrolment! Autumn term was a blast (even if lockdown paused us for 4 weeks!) but we’re looking ahead to some exciting new ventures.

Next term we are working on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Sweet Charity next term ✨

Wing It Academy broke up for Christmas this evening after a challenging Covid/Lockdown term.
We couldn’t be prouder of our wonderful students who despite missing 4 weeks managed to smash our terms musicals and rehearse/record 30 mins worth of brilliant material in preparation for our Summer Showcase.
Connor, Emma and I feel privileged to watch you guys learn and grow and are very much looking forward to our LEGIT Study next term! You make us so proud.
