This summer, Lola is offering Maths Peer Tutoring for just £10 an hour! All sessions are planned and supervised by a qualified and DBS checked teacher whilst the teaching is carried out by Lola.

Alternative Provision Teacher

Job Overview:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Manage behaviour effectively, promoting respect and inclusivity among students.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behaviour.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a cohesive teaching environment.

Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, QTLS) is essential.
- Previous experience in a teaching role is essential.
- SEN experience is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for all students.
