True community support means understanding boundaries, respecting safe spaces, and rolling up your sleeves to help. 🤝✨

At The Esther Project, we are proud to be a women-supporting-women organisation.

Our core mission is providing dedicated, safe, women-only environments for healing and recovery.

However, a common misconception is that "women-only spaces" means men cannot be involved in our project at all.

Our policy does not exclude men; rather, it invites them to be active champions of our cause.

We strictly risk-manage all our activities to keep our core women-only hub, therapeutic spaces and our housing as an entirely safe space for women, but we also create vital opportunities for men to fully support our mission too!

We are incredibly grateful for all the brilliant support we have received from so many male supporters over the last few years. 👏

Men can support in lots of ways too, including:

✨️ Using their Corporate Social Responsibility volunteering days alongside our dedicated volunteer team who keep our project running.
✨️ Joining our Fundraising Team by raising vital funds through charity skydives and other challenges/events we put on.
✨️ Handling vital deliveries: Moving donations from our storage points and dropping off and helping move heavy items/furniture.
✨️ Sorting donations & steaming in our separate designated steaming area.
✨️ Helping with any repairs and maintenance.
✨️ Providing behind-the-scenes admin/tech support: Assisting with strategic steering, administration, research, software/IT support, and employability pathway guidance.

When men respect the need for women-only environments, but still want to be involved, they become a vital part of the solution👏

Back on the 6th of May at 6.30pm is the VAWG Women's Walk in partnership with Leamington Police ✨️

We meet outside and with this lovely weather, it’s the perfect excuse to get out in the sunshine, have a chat and walk together 🩷

There is always a brilliant mix of women who come along on their own and those who come with friends, so please don’t worry if you’re coming solo. By the end, you’ll almost certainly have made some new ones. 💛

🐾 Dogs are very welcome too — the more waggy tails, the better!

The walk finishes at hub where you can also join us for tea & cakes. Walk, sunshine, dogs, tea & cake … what more could we ask for?

We can’t wait to see you there! ☀️🐾
