As part of our Year 1 Geography lessons, we visited the park today to identify physical and human features. The sun was shining, and the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the park and learning about the different features around them. It was a lovely opportunity to take our learning outside and put our Geography skills into practice!

The children have thoroughly enjoyed our book ‘Aliens love Underpants’ this week. We have drawn the characters and the setting, and today we had to think of a way to get the aliens back home after their spaceship broke down! The ideas they thought of were brilliant - from flying cars to hot air balloons!

We have been so impressed with how well our new Reception children have settled into life at Stockingford Academy.
They have enjoyed exploring, reading, singing, counting, playing and trying their first school lunch over the last week and we couldn't be prouder!
