Success with my tomatoes!
I did a better job looking after them this year - last summer I was busy growing a baby, so they were somewhat neglected 🙃

At first, progress can seem slow: my tomatoes took a while to flourish but I took the time to water them.

Progress playing an instrument can feel the same: a piece may sound rough, uneven and have wrong notes.
With steady care and practice, it all gradually develops, just like my tommies did. 🍅

Squeezing some professional development into the Summer break. 🤩
I attended the Dance Business Conference at the start of the month with my The Orme School of Dancing co-owner and sister Jennifer.

The training was super useful and will help me to push Manhattan Music forward and to work to nurture our students even more in their learning along with all of our dance students at Orme Dance too.

I’m full of ideas for the new school year! 🌟🎶🎉

I can’t recommend Baby Sensory enough for the very little ones!
Laura leads lovely sessions for the Babies from 0-13 months. It has been a highlight of mine and Daniel’s week in his first year.
If you have a little one, do check this out. It’s a great introduction to singing, music appreciation and movement. 🎶🌟

When homemade shaky shaky bottles and corrugated card are all that you need to make a band! (And currently beat all other actual toys.)
