As a registered charity (1071175), and established 24 years ago by a group of unpaid local volunteers, we are incredibly proud of our centre and what we have achieved. We are 99% self funded and need to make approx. 22K a month to continue running. We really do appreciate the regular users and volunteers who attend and help run our diverse range of classes, workshop and events. We couldn't do it without you!
To continue celebrating Community Centre Week we will give you just a snap shot of some of the things that are running TODAY! As well as our normal sessions we will also be running one of our afternoon tea sessions which are extremely popular and enjoyed by all who attend!

Stalls are £13 and tables will be provided, measuring 5ft.
Stalls will be allocated to chosen applicants, dependant on the range of items for sale.
We want to ensure we offer a diverse array of items for sale and also make sure new stall holders have an opportunity to showcase their goods. If you would like to register your interest in having a stall please email [email protected] and send us some details/photos of what you would like to sell.
We are limited to 30 stalls so we will be reviewing applications for a stall and contacting people once we have selected a diverse range of products. We are accepting stall applications now but the final stall decisions will be made in a few weeks time.

With it being National Volunteer Week, we just wanted to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team of volunteers for everything they do. Our volunteers are invaluable in helping us run a successful range of events as well as our weekly community cafe and we really do appreciate you all. Thank You!

Bookings are now open for our next Afternoon Tea on 25th July 2024 – Doors open at 12.15pm
You can book by coming to the office, email or phone. You will need to pay in full at the time of booking.
Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

If you're looking to save some money and keep the family fed then book yourself an appointment at the Social Supermarket.
Simply text your name, address, postcode and the number of adults & children in the household to 07392 084485. You will receive a response on a Monday with a day/time/venue for your visit. You'll follow a shopping list depending on your family size and choose your favourite products, flavours and brands. £5 donation for a individual, £10 donation for 2 people and £20 donation for a family.

Any budding artists...We have a number of assorted size art canvases that are going free to a good home(s). They can be white washed over if you wanted to reuse for your own art or you might just like the original. They are located down the left hand corridor as you come into the centre please feel free to pop in and help yourself.
