Seva School Chabeel 2024 - Chabeel commemorates the Shaheedi (martyrdom) of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the Fifth Guru of the Sikhs. On the day, when Guru Sahib Ji was Shaheed (martyrdom) it was extremely hot, so to remember the sacrifice of Guru Sahib Ji and the lesson of acceptance that Guru Sahib Ji taught, Sikhs serve a cool, sweet drink called chabeel on this day.
Seva School, PIRI Building, Open Evening Friday 21st June 3:30pm - 6:30pm. Tours, presentations and refreshments. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

FA Cup Semi Final Fever has gripped Seva School this week. Coventry City will battle it out with Manchester United this weekend on Sunday 21st April, 3.30pm at Wembley, for a place in the Final. Staff members Mr G Singh and Mr A Challis (Man U fans) have enjoyed humorous banter all week with Trustee Mr S Singh Heer and staff member Mr M Wallis (Coventry City fans). The pupils have also revelled in the excitement between each other. Good luck to both teams, but as a Coventry school lets hope the Sky Blues triumph.

Seva school had the honour of welcoming the CEO of Khalsa Aid International, Ravi Singh and local Coventry representative of Khalsa Aid, Gurmeet Singh. What an inspiration!
Today we held our 2 minute silence for remembrance day. This was observed respectfully by everyone in school within their classrooms. We have been selling poppies during the week to raise money for the Royal British Legion. Our virtue of the half-term is courage and this is reflected in the way the armed forces serve their King and Country. Soldiers from around the world, male and female, of different faiths and beliefs were celebrated.
Our reception class had and amazing time at Coombe Abbey Country Park. The children enjoyed looking for signs of autumn. They listened for woodland sounds, collected autumn treasure such at conkers, leaves and cones and made friends with a tree. The children enjoyed making bark rubbings of their favourite tree. The reception class is a credit to Seva School, their behaviour is exceptional and their attitude to learning is outstanding. Well done class RS.
