Lamon Ballet Associates

WOW - what a fantastic last session at LBA today. Our students learned 5 variations from The Sleeping Beauty - Aurora, Prince Florimund and Fairies - Songbird, Crystal Fountain and the Enchanted Forest.

Thank you to our students for all of your hard work this year. We have watched you learn and grow and couldn’t be more happy with all of your achievements!

A special mention to Lily-Rose who was the recipient of our first Lamon Ballet Associate Scholarship Award. Lily-Rose will receive a year’s free tuition in recognition of her hard work and dedication. Well done Lily-Rose!

Thank you all for our wonderful cards, thoughtful gifts and gorgeous flowers today, we are very thankful to you all.

We hope you enjoyed yourselves, and also to our parents - thank you for trusting us with your children - all of them are a credit to you.

Another fantastic session with our hard working students. 🙌

We started our day with some Pilates inspired conditioning work followed by ballet class for our lower and upper students. Our lower class finished the day learning the Bluebird and Princess Florina variation whilst our upper class learnt the Grand Pas Classique variation.

Well done everyone, we can’t wait to see you for our last session of the year next month!💙🩰

We had another fantastic session at Lamon Ballet Associates on Sunday. We started the day learning a neoclassical inspired ballet piece followed by some Pilates inspired strengthening and conditioning. 🩰💙

We had another wonderful session today and welcomed some new faces to LBA too!
Today we had Ballet Class, lots of focus on technique and to finish off with a performance of our neo-classical piece.

We were back to the studio today for our first session of the year and a great start to 2025!

We started the morning with some Progressing Ballet Technique and then moved on to working on our contemporary technique and lots of centre combos!

Our contemporary repertoire today was from Julie’s favourite piece possibly of all time! Ghost Dances originally choreographed by Christopher Bruce for Ballet Rambert. It was lovely to share some of the excerpts of this piece with our students, which they embraced with much excitement!

Our final session of 2024 was today and as always it was wonderful!

Well done to everyone for all your hard work - we’ve loved helping you!

Our fab group learned a Nutcracker scene including excerpts from the Sugarplum Fairy, Snowflakes, journey through the snow and the opening scene. It was everything we imagined and more!

Superb work from everyone! We did miss a few of our regulars - we have a little something for you all 🎁

Great to be back in the studio yesterday for our second session! Much focus on technique, together with quality of movement.

We presented a group piece to our parents at the end of the day, inspired by autumn.

Lots of smiles and enjoyment all round! Well done everyone!

We are already planning our next session and it will be all things Nutcracker….with a twist!

A wonderful final session of the year with our associates. We worked on some centre combinations in our ballet class and an excerpt of the entrance of the swans from Swan Lake during our repertoire class. 🩰
