We had a wonderful session yesterday, with everyone working hard on some PBT exercises and also learning two new pieces of repertoire to perform to parents at the end of class.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) focuses on building muscle memory and can help dancers achieve greater control, stability, and flexibility.

Our repertoire studied this month included two new pieces - the Bluebird variation from Sleeping Beauty and Gamzatti & Friends from La Bayadère.

Our next session is on March 17th, we are planning it already!

We had a fantastic session on Sunday with Aimée who taught our students some repertoire from The Nutcracker!

Everyone enjoyed a great workshop with Aimée and a Q&A session giving our students valuable insights into her journey in becoming a professional ballet dancer and the world of ballet! We were also lucky enough to watch Aimée perform some ballet pieces 🩰

We hope you all enjoy your last few weeks of dance before the Christmas break and we look forward to welcoming you all back next year xx

Today we held our final session of the year before breaking for the summer!

Lots of hard work learning four pieces of repertoire from Coppelia, Within The Golden Hour, Sleeping Beauty and the Grand Pas Classique Variation (one of Sophie’s favourites!)🩰

We had time for ice pops! Those of you who were unable to come today, don’t worry - we’ll do it again in September!

We all enjoyed a brilliant session last Sunday!

Our younger group worked very hard on their posture and alignment building stronger foundations.

Our older group also worked hard on their pointe work and strengthening, taught by Sophie who demonstrated everything en pointe - a great bonus!

Repertoire this time was from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Swan Lake (again....by their special request last month!)

A very enjoyable day of learning for everyone!

We have two more sessions left on June 13th and July 11th before we break for the summer. We will be sharing details very soon about enrolling for September 2021!

Sunday 18th April 2021 a day we’ve been waiting patiently for - our first session back and it was like we’d never been away!

Well done to everyone for working so hard! We’re beyond words how it felt to see everyone again and to welcome into LBA our new students too! Hope you enjoyed your biscuits!

What makes it even better is that everyone is now back dancing with their schools too 💕
