Take a look at all the ways our Sparkling Stars mark make, they are getting a solid foundation of skills which will help them for future writing ✍️

Our Shooting Stars have been challenging themselves by creating an amazing obstacle course in our garden 🏅 They showed great sportsmanship by cheering for everybody 😁

By adding some googly eyes and pipe cleaners our Sparkling Stars used their imagination to create some faces 🤪

They were also developing their fine motor skills, without even realising 🤫

Some of our Twinkling Stars have been reluctant to join in messy play, so we have tried some mess free messy play to spark their interest and to start experiencing different textures 😁

Happy 75th Birthday nhs.uk! Our Shooting Stars marked this special day by making a beautiful birthday card, and then venturing to our local post office to post it.

The children enjoyed making their pizzas to have for tea. We had a few that couldn’t resist tasting the toppings as they were adding them 😁

We love all our friends at nursery 😍

🫧 We’re forever blowing bubbles. 🫧 Pretty bubbles in the air 🫧

Our tot’s have been following a recipe and have made some delicious shortbread biscuits 🍪

They were able to measure out the ingredients and give it a good mix. Together they decided that blue biscuits would be the best option 💙

We have enjoyed lots of lovely trips out this half term making the most of the weather!☀️ We have explored parks, splashed in some water, made trips on the bus and we all ventured on a trip to the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum to take part in some under the sea crafts!🐙🐠🐳

Creativity is messy and our babies get very creative!✨

🎉 We are really pleased to be May’s Employer of the Month C&W Chamber Training 🎉

We are really proud of our apprentice’s. The learning and support they receive from the college assessors is invaluable and is a great start to their career ☺️

The Tots have been enjoying the sunshine! They’ve all been trying really hard to master hopping and jumping as they play hopscotch. Catch them running as fast as they can up and down the snakes and ladders- and then even having a try at creating their own!🐍🪜

Pre-School are becoming eco-warriors! They have been spending lots of time learning about what we can recycle, what goes into waste and what we can compost. They’ve also thought about what we can do to help our planet- so we’re making sure to turn the taps off, asking to keep the lights switched off and to use our scrap paper for junk modelling! 🌎🌱

Check out our green fingers!🥕 We have been busy transforming part of our garden into our vegetable patch. We can’t wait to taste them!

Sensory play helps babies to learn more about the world around them… the babies have been using all their senses to explore this tuff tray!🪶

We are having such fun during our Oral Health week! Today we have been learning lots about brushing our teeth, using toothpaste and why we need to keep our teeth nice and clean!

Pre-School have been busy learning about healthy foods! First they sorted out lots of different food into the different food groups… and then enjoyed spotting the carbohydrates, dairy and the protein on their plates during dinner and tea. They’ve also been learning about how important it is to drink lots of water and are getting so good at pouring their own drinks. Yummy!🥗🍝🍎

Tots are continuing to expand their creativity by using different tools to make their creations🎨

ROAR!🦖 Dinosaurs are still the babies favourite after our trip to see Dippy!🦕

Every child’s an artist🎨 Pre-School have been exploring famous paintings and letting their creative side run wild as they become inspired by these beautiful pieces of work!🖌

Our very hungry caterpillars have transformed into beautiful butterflies!🦋 We had some very brave children (and butterflies!) who decided to hang out inside before setting off to enjoy the outdoors🌳

The babies have been trying LOTS of new tastes and textures… some going down better than others!🍋🍓

😃 Our preschool are becoming very independent 😃
They are now able to serve their own lunch. This has been great for the children’s self confidence and created more conversation at meal times 😃

Today we went to visit Dippy at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum! 🦕
Babies, Tots and Pre-School all enjoyed getting there on the bus, seeing Dippy himself and then exploring all of the dinosaur dressing up, toys and drawings!
We had such a brilliant time- everyone has not stopped talking about Dippy since we got back!

The children have been using this calm space to learn about their emotions and feelings 🧘‍♀️🧘

We’ve had such a lovely day today, with an Easter tea party for our Babies- who got very messy with paint… and then some hot cross buns! And our older children found ALL of the eggs on our egg hunt… and were rewarded with a yummy egg of their own!🍫
