Staff Training & Team-Building volunteering Day 🌿

Some of my 🍁wonderful girls have spent the 🦔 day working together, getting creative and bringing their brilliant 🍂ideas to life! They keep 🎃telling me they’re “not creative”… well, the results 🧡clearly say otherwise! 😂👏

A lovely day filled with teamwork, laughter and imagination, all to make our nursery even more magical for our children. I’m so proud of them! 💚🍃🦉

💦 Wonderful Water Play 💦

Water play is always one of our children’s absolute favourites, and it is easy to see why! From autumn inspired sensory trays and icy polar adventures to pouring, scooping and exploring fresh herbs, every activity offers something new to discover. 🍂🐧🌿

As the children splash and explore together, they develop their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, communication, imagination and early understanding of capacity, floating and sinking. Most importantly, they are learning through joyful, hands on play!

Sometimes the simplest resource creates the biggest learning opportunities, and plenty of happy little faces. 💙

🦔🍂 Making Hedgehogs 🍂🦔 with Carole and Sophie 🥰

Our children have been busy creating their own little hedgehogs using playdough and a variety of natural materials.

This lovely autumn activity encouraged creativity, imagination and fine motor skills as the children rolled, shaped, pressed and carefully added the hedgehogs’ prickly spines. We also enjoyed talking about hedgehogs, where they live and how they prepare for the colder months.

A wonderful hands-on learning experience inspired by nature! 🍁🌿

🦖🫖 T-REX TEA PARTY! 🫖🦖

What an amazing T-Rex Tea Party our children have been invited to explore today! 🌿💗 created by our lovely Daisy!

Using water, fresh herbs, flowers, natural materials, pinecones and a variety of pots, jugs and utensils, the children can scoop, pour, mix, stir and create their very own dinosaur teas and potions. 🫖🌸🌿

Through this wonderful sensory experience, the children can explore different smells, textures and colours, develop their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination, and investigate early mathematical concepts such as full, empty, more and less.

There are also so many opportunities for communication and language as children introduce their own ideas, use new vocabulary, tell stories and engage in imaginative play together. 💬🦖

Most importantly, there is no set outcome. The children are free to follow their own curiosity, make choices, experiment and decide where their play takes them, while our Early Years Educators use open ended questions and sustained shared thinking to extend their learning naturally. 🌿✨

What an absolutely wonderful day we have had celebrating our amazing little graduates! 🎓✨

We are bursting with pride as we look at how much each and every one of you has grown. From those first little steps through our doors to the confident, curious and wonderful children you are today , it has been such a privilege to be part of your early years journey. ❤️

Today was filled with smiles, laughter, celebrations and so many special memories. A huge thank you to all of our families for joining us and making the day so magical.

To our beautiful graduates: you are ready for your next big adventure! 🌟 Be brave, be kind, keep asking questions, keep exploring and, most importantly, always believe in yourselves.

Good luck as you take your next steps into school. We will miss you more than you know, but you will always be one of our Little Angels. 👼💛

As our children prepare to transition into their new rooms, we’re busy transforming every learning environment across the nursery.

Our experienced practitioners have spent time carefully observing each cohort, listening to children’s voices, recognising their emerging interests and identifying what truly engages them. These observations have guided every decision we make.

Rather than creating rooms based on trends, we design environments with purpose. Our continuous provision is thoughtfully adapted to reflect the unique interests, strengths and developmental needs of each new group of children, ensuring every space encourages curiosity, independence and meaningful learning.

No two cohorts are ever the same, which is why no two environments should be either.
