As our children prepare to transition into their new rooms, we’re busy transforming every learning environment across the nursery.

Our experienced practitioners have spent time carefully observing each cohort, listening to children’s voices, recognising their emerging interests and identifying what truly engages them. These observations have guided every decision we make.

Rather than creating rooms based on trends, we design environments with purpose. Our continuous provision is thoughtfully adapted to reflect the unique interests, strengths and developmental needs of each new group of children, ensuring every space encourages curiosity, independence and meaningful learning.

No two cohorts are ever the same, which is why no two environments should be either.

Transformation doesn’t always require a big budget… just a little imagination. 🤎 creating a calm space for our team 🥰

2 years ago when we first took on our nursery, the staff room was simply a storage space. Once we’d cleared it, we gave it a fresh coat of paint, but something was still missing. The white tiles have always felt cold and clinical, and replacing them wasn’t within our budget.

So instead of focusing on what we couldn’t afford, we thought differently.

2 years later! We used simple fence panels to create a warm, natural feature wall, added soft lighting, plants and comfortable seating, and completely transformed the atmosphere.

Callum Symanski (15) has had his Cycle Speedway Bike stolen from the Jardine Crescent area. It is very distinctive, having bull horn handlebars and no brakes. We are a small and tight sporting community and the bike is only worth something to hundreds of people in the country, all of whom know it is stolen and resale is almost impossible. St Oswalds Church have agreed to be an amnesty point no questions asked. As well as riding for coventry, Callum also rides for the Midlands and Ireland Juniors. Let's help reunite him with his pride and joy.

🌍🍽️ We’re bringing back one of our favourite experiences, inviting our amazing parents to share their culture with us! 🍽️🌍

From September, we’re excited to reintroduce our Cultural Cooking Sessions across My Little Angels Daycare 1 & 2.
We are inviting parents, grandparents and family members from all cultural backgrounds to come into nursery and share a simple dish from their country or heritage with our children.
Food is a wonderful way to learn about different cultures, traditions and communities. As we cook together, children will have the opportunity to discover new flavours, hear different languages, learn about countries around the world and celebrate the diversity that makes our nursery family so special.
Whether it’s homemade curry, pasta, dumplings, jollof rice, samosas, pierogi, tortillas, spring rolls or a treasured family recipe, we’d love to welcome you into nursery to share your culture and traditions with us.

Together, let’s inspire curiosity, celebrate diversity and help our children discover the world, one delicious recipe at a time. ❤️🌍

What a wonderful day of learning, exploration and adventure! 🌳📚🍦

Today our children enjoyed a fantastic community walk, making the most of all the wonderful opportunities around us.

Throughout our journey, we practised our road safety skills, learning how to stop, look, listen and think before crossing the road. The children were fantastic at following instructions, recognising safe places to cross and understanding how to keep themselves and others safe.

Our first stop was our local library, where our teacher Sophie read a beautiful story to the children. It was lovely to see everyone so engaged and enjoying the magic of books together.

We then walked to Farmfoods, where the children used their money to pay for and collect the treats they had chosen, including a well-earned lolly! Experiences like these help develop confidence, communication, independence and early mathematical skills in real-life situations.

Our adventure continued with a walk through the woods, where we explored nature, talked about what we could see and hear, and enjoyed the fresh air.

To finish our day, we gathered under the shade of the big trees to enjoy our packed lunches together. There is something truly special about learning beyond the nursery walls, creating memories, building friendships and developing skills that will stay with our children for years to come.
