Dear all,

In lieu of the fact that we can’t do any fundraising for the PTFA at the moment we were wondering whether people might like to donate the money that they would’ve spent at PTFA events to the new canteen build instead?

The school have at long last taken the bold decision to not wait for the government but to build a new canteen at WHS.

We all know that the current canteen has been unfit for purpose for years and really impacted on both student and staff at the school.

They have created a go fund me page so that all parents who wish to donate to the building fund can – It is important however that we all share the link to our networks and friends so that anyone in the local or national community who wishes to help are able to.

They are looking at spending over £100K on the new build and would like to get it operational for September 2020.
They have identified a space for the canteen and have already started to prepare the ground for the new canteen.
