Catching up on the last two gigs of the Bank Holiday Weekend.
On Friday 24th I took my Magic Maths to Halwin Primary School, Assembly Show and Classroom sessions across the year groups and yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) I was at Shaldon Water for their Spring Fair performing my Family Magic Show (dodging the rain showers).
A busy weekend but worth every minute (and mile).

Ah, Jon was fantastic, although it catered for my little boy aged 5, I / us adults loved the show too! The balloon sword was a great hit at the end of the show and all of the kids were so happy. He completely took over for me entertaining the kids and I will definitely be booking again.

Magic Maths is for KS2 and KS3 students, designed to engage and inspire pupils in Maths by showing them creativity, group problem solving and what a cool subject it really is.

What a brilliant day Jon delivered with his 'Magic Maths'. The children (and adults!) were captivated during the launch assembly, firstly with the magic and then with the maths behind it. The subsequent workshops continued in the same fashion where a real excitement for mathematics was generated as the children learnt the 'tricks' and some very relevant mathematics. We can't wait for the next one!

I'm taking bookings for schools across the South West for the new academic year now.

Thank you so much for the most amazing day which you provided to support our Maths Week. The children absolutely loved the assembly you delivered and came out buzzing out Maths, saying how cool it is! The classroom sessions were really engaging and many children went home with ideas as to how to challenge their parents! One of our year 6 classes got very involved in one 'maths magic trick' and this led to hours of mathematical research!
