Throwback Thursday 😎to when we clapped out our wonderful Class of 2026 as they walked the red carpet and left Moorside for the very last time. What a special moment for a truly special group of pupils. ✨

We wish them all the luck in the world as they begin their journey to secondary school.

And a huge good luck to Mrs Templeton, who also left Moorside to begin her next chapter. ☀️

Wow! 👩🏼‍🍳

As part of their DT topic this half term, the year 5s and 6s made Brazilian empanadas. They used a combination of meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs and spices to create their own individual flavours.

The final product got a big thumbs up after the taste test 👍🏻🥟🇧🇷

SKIPPING SCHOOL 🪢

The children had a great time learning lots of different skipping methods and have since applied their new skills to their playground games. It was fantastic to see children who were not so confident at the beginning become more resilient as the session went on. ⭐️

☀️🌸 SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUBS 🌼🍉

This Summer, Kalma Life will be using our school to run FULLY FUNDED holiday clubs by Fun & Food & DfE!!

Sessions are packed with fun, creativity and energetic activities designed to keep children happy, active and engaged throughout the day.

Children will enjoy a wide range of exciting themed craft activities including, bubble painting, squishy making, colour monsters, glitter jars, tin can creatures, planting and growing, outdoor exploration, STEM activities and much more. These activities inspire creativity, problem-solving and plenty of smiles!

Alongside crafts, children will take part in upbeat games and activities that get them moving, laughing and working together.
Breakfast, lunch and drinks are provided each day to keep everyone fuelled and ready for fun. Any dietary requirements must be noted on the booking.

These clubs are aimed at primary aged children (Y1 to Y6) across County Durham between 5-11 years old. Please note children are to be left in our care for the full duration and must be collected by an adult.

All clubs will run between 9am - 3pm at;
