Due to an influx in new children joining our setting- We are looking for 2 new enthusiastic, motivated, team players to join our nursery family.

The successful candidates must be passionate about having an impact and making a difference to the lives of children, whether from vulnerable or privileged backgrounds.
You must love spending time with children, delivering inspirational learning. Be an excellent communicator and work alongside your team to achieve best experiences for children and their families.

The position is part time/flexible on a temporary basis to start but may lead to a permanent position after this time.

Candidate's must be/have the following:
♡ A level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
♡ An in depth knowledge of the EYFS & FFTS framework.
♡ Experience working with children aged from birth- 5 years. (Minimum of 1 year preferred)
♡ A valid first aid certificate (desirable but not essential)
♡ A willingness to learn & grow as part of a team.
♡ Excellent time keeping & punctuality.
♡ A flexible working schedule.

🥳🥳 The Nursery has won this fantastic advertising opportunity & a chance to show our support to a fantastic local business "Dancemax" which is owned by our of our lovely parents.
Our nursery logo will be displayed on their new t- shirts for all to see- we are thrilled!! 🥳🥳

🕺 The dancemax students are all amazing and do incredible well in every competition they enter- their dance teacher Kirstin has lead her team through the toughest of times, with the pandemic closing down her business for a very long time but both her & her students have came back fighting & will be competing in Skegness this weekend.
We wish them all the luck in the world..... bring them trophies home guys, we are behind you 100% 💃

⛔Important notice for all parents & carers⛔

At the beginning of the current lockdown some parent/carers decided to keep their child/ren at home safe until further announcements had been made by the prime minster.

Whilst we respect your desicion, we now need to move forward and receive expected return dates for All children who are yet to return.
We been making phone calls over the last week and have gained some repsonse from parents however there are still some that we have not being able to get in contact with and still need confirmation of return dates for.

If you have kept your child at home and need to make arrangements for a return date back to nursery, please could you get in touch with nursery ASAP on 01207 591616 as we cannot reserves spaces any longer, due to having a waiting list.

📛⛔🚫 Update 🚫⛔📛

Good afternoon families. There has been much speculation in the media over the last few days regarding schools & nursery settings reopening tomorrow. I wanted to contact you and give a quick overview of our current position.
It is an unfolding situation with the government, scientists and unions all taking different views on the current risks of schools & nurseries reopening.

I’m sure you will appreciate this is a very difficult time for everyone as we try to work out how best to keep our schools & nursery communities safe.
We have yet to receive any guidance from County Hall & are expecting an update tomorrow via email or phone call & will keep you all updated with the new guidelines moving forward.

However, I do need to prepare you all for the likelihood of us not reopening to all children this week and I envisage the need to prioritise key worker children once more. I will be in touch tomorrow as soon as I have something more concrete to share.

At present we would advise all parents & carers that we will be open tomorrow & will be awaiting further news from the local authority- however if you or anyone in your household is ill or has ANY symptoms of covid-19 to stay at home & get tested ASAP or if you would prefer to wait for further advise regarding your childs safety whilst at nursery to stay at home & await further guidance as we may have to prioritise nursery places accordingly at short notice.

The Nursery phonelines will be open from 7.30am tomorrow for parents who wish to contact us & staff will be in deep cleaning the nursery after the Christmas break for peace of mind & for the safety of all of our children.

😍😍 Huge Thank You's go out to Morrisons in Consett for their kind donation of selection boxes for our nursery children for their Christmas party.
As a private setting we don't get much in the way of donations from businesses so this was a lovely surprise - we are very grateful :)

🎃👻 The Nursery will be having our Halloween Party (in our own room bubbles) on Thursday 22nd October.
Children will be invited to come into nursery dressed up in their spooky Halloween costumes & we will have Halloween themed avtivities all next week so that no one misses out 👻🎃
