Delivered loose to your door by our friendly, experienced drivers, a single load of logs is 1.6m³, roughly 550 x 9" logs. Stacked neatly, as shown here, to around 1.2m³.

British grown, sustainably sourced, and guaranteed below 20% moisture so they light easily, burn hotter and produce less smoke.

Why choose British firewood? 🪵

Grown in Britain Week is the perfect moment to shout about it. Choosing British firewood comes with real benefits:

🌍 Lower transport emissions, local wood travels shorter distances, cutting down our carbon footprint
🌳 Part of a sustainable cycle, responsible harvesting balances the carbon released in burning with the carbon absorbed by new growth
💷 Supports the local economy, keeping rural jobs and businesses thriving in our communities
🔥 Better quality, certified wood burns cleaner and more efficiently, with less smoke
✅ A simpler, safer supply chain, UK sourcing means proper regulation and no risk of illegal harvesting or mislabelling

As a Grown in Britain accredited supplier, it's something we're proud to be part of.

You'll have read the headlines this month, oil has passed $100 a barrel again, and for a lot of households that means another squeeze on heating costs this Winter.

Having a wood burner and a stack of our logs ready to go means you're not at the mercy of oil prices. Our kiln dried logs give you a fixed, predictable cost, and we're still holding last year's prices.

Order now and stay warm with us this Winter. 🪵🔥

From tree to toasty fire, here's how it happens. 🌳🔥

At Walker's Logs, every log goes through a carefully managed process. Trees are selected and felled from sustainably managed woodlands, then cut, graded and split before being kiln dried down to below 20% moisture. Once ready, they're packaged or delivered straight to you, for a hassle free, roaring fire every time.
