Great Tey Pre-School

Thank you to the children and parents who joined our making it real event today. ☺️

We have had a busy week back at Pre-school! We have been exploring our senses, we have smelt different spices, used scented paint, explored herbs, tasted new fruits, made our own musical shakers, listened to different sounds, explored the light box and had fun with torches and lights! Also our caterpillars have arrived! 🐛

We have had fun exploring lots of Easter themed activities again this week!

We also had a great time finding our Easter Bags, with a variety of Easter crafts!

We hope everyone has a great Easter 🐣

We reopen on Tuesday 14th April, baby and toddler group will be back on Wednesday 15th April!

The start of our Easter crafts this week! The children had a lovely time exploring different textures, creating art and enjoying a range of mathematical activities. Next week we will continuing our Easter activities and going on Easter Bag hunts! 🐣

We are pleased to confirm that the pre-school has received its first award for ‘Nourishing Our Future (NOF).’

There is increasing recognition of the vital role food and nutrition play in early years settings, and we are working in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and Essex County Council to successfully support our families in providing important information about healthy nutrition for their children.

We are now working towards our second stage award and will continue to share the ways we can encourage healthy eating for future generations. The team are looking forward to attending the next NOF conference this weekend!
