All in the Making The Textile Collective is an open, friendly and supportive space for skill sharing, empowering local people through traditional crafts.

The range of activities we are offering originally as Allinthemaking is now The Clothing Clinic Textile Collective. The Textile Collective is a community interest company which offers a skill sharing service to empower local people with traditional craft skills. From weaving and sewing to willow-work, we use recycled materials and materials from the natural environment to teach people new skills in a friendly in supportive atmosphere. Originally Allinthemaking textiles we are now working within The Clothing Clinic Textile Collective

We are based at the new Community 360 hub in Long Wyre Street and are open Tues/Wed/Thurs starting inOctober

Allinthemaking hasnt been inactive in the physical world but slumbering on Facebook.In November last year we displayed items in Abigails Drapery in Lewes.Penny and I made a lovely chenilled collar,bath mats and small bags in the chenilling technique.We have so much more news to tell you.We need a young enthusiastic facebook post person as I tend to show my age(60) in the aversion to it!!
