S.O.S DANCE

Join us as we dance our way through the story telling journey that led us to S.O.S Dance as we know and love it today along with a 2nd ½ of highlights and most loved pieces selected by the students themselves as a reflection of recently celebrating 20years as a dance school. Its gonna be special!

OMGollyyyyy they arrived and I love them! The Nordic Sisu symbol from my heritage has been placed on the back representing the inner strength to carry on when things get hard just pops and looks EPIC....ill be handing them out over the coming week!

Today one of my adult students showed me a tattoo she just got and .....I cried. (I never thought I could cry over a tattoo but I did!)
I know how much SOS has helped this individual and the fact that something I have created means so much to that person to have it tattooed was just so insanely touching.
I love the moomins ,im also known as moomin momma to most and the balloon is a symbol of love from a previous show we had done and in the core of that heart is SOS Dance.....I feel so touched!

P.S Disclaimer, I'm not encouraging my students in anyway to get tattooed lol

Today was spent filming with the wonderful for their up and coming documentary around the "Essex girl" disucssing stigma and stereotypes and how we can break this. I took away a lot of food for thought.
Thanks again for having us on-board ❤️ it was lovely meeting you both. ❤️
