🎉 We’re absolutely delighted to share that our latest Ofsted report at Branching Out of School has now been published! 🥳

What an incredible way to celebrate alongside another fantastic week at Branching Out! 🌊🐚⚓

A huge thank you to our amazing team, our wonderful children, and our supportive families. Every smile, creative activity and cuddle contributes to making Branching Out such a special place to learn and grow. We couldn’t be prouder. 💚

This week we’ve swapped wellies for buckets and spades as we’ve been diving into our Seaside Week! 🌞🏖️

From sandy small world play and seaside crafts, to octopus making and treasure hunts and plenty of imaginative play, the children have had an amazing time making summer memories. 🏴‍☠️

🏝️At Branching Out of School we even squeezed in a visit to Ribchester Park!

🧘🏽‍♀️ Seaside yoga with Buddha Bears!

🦁🦒 Safari Week has officially begun! 🐘🌿

AND… a fabulous start to our first week of our Summer Holiday Club l!

The children have thrown themselves into our Safari Week adventures with so much enthusiasm, imagination and fun in both settings 🦓

Today included a very special Safari Yoga session with our favourite flamingo Buddha Bears 💖 we stretched like giraffes, stomped like elephants and prowled like lions – a wonderful way to get active while exploring our safari theme! 🧘🦁

We can’t wait to share even more of our adventures as we make the most of our wonderful local surroundings over the coming days. 🌳☀️

💚 Can you satisfy our curiosity in helping more with transitions?

Every year, as children get ready to start Reception, we notice lots of conversations between parents, and it got us thinking…

We would love to know, for those of you whose children are about to start school (or have already made the transition):

✨ What was your biggest worry before they started?

✨ What surprised you the most once they were there?

✨ What do you wish someone had told you beforehand?

✨ If you could go back, what would you tell yourself before that first day?

Private nurseries across the country are closing their doors and the government are still pushing their false agendas!

It’s so frustrating and upsetting as hard working individuals who care deeply about what we do!

It’s been a very foodie week at Branching Out! 😋

On Tuesday, we celebrated Pancake Day! 🥞 We talked about Lent and how Shrove Tuesday is traditionally a day to use up ingredients before the Lenten season begins. We also talked about how some people choose to give things up during Lent.

And of course… we couldn’t celebrate without eating pancakes! 🥞 After discussing our favourite toppings, and doing some very serious taste testing 😆, strawberries were the clear winner! 😍

The fun didn’t stop there…

As part of our learning about Chinese New Year 🧧🥳, we welcomed a special visitor… Xander’s dad, Ant, kindly came to prepare and cook Chinese food for us! 🍜🥟

On the menu was chicken fried rice, spring rolls, sweet and sour sauce, prawn crackers and fortune cookies! Everything was so tasty - the children loved it and even had a go at using chopsticks! 🥢

A big thank you to Ant for giving his time to visit us and educate us about Chinese culture and cuisine! 😋
