Artsmark- Silver Award

This week, we had some excellent news when we received the result of our Artsmark application. Miss Fenwick, Miss Wales and Mrs Stokes followed on from the work by Mrs Oliver in achieving the award for the school. We received the silver award, achieving some excellent feedback from the judging committee. Well done, Ladies and thank you for all your hard work in achieving the award. Next stop, gold level!

Y3 Trip to Great North Museum

Last week, Year 3 headed out on their Summer Term trip to the Great North Museum in Newcastle. They had an adventure travelling on the Metro to and from the City Centre with excellent support from Metro staff. The classes enjoyed exploring the museum, completing a workshop looking at Ancient Egyptian artefacts and eating their packed lunches in the sun. Year 3 staff were impressed with the pupil’s knowledge and behaviour during the trip. Well done, Year 3!

Nursery Trip- Hall Hill Farm

Last week, the Nursery cohort headed out to Hall Hill Farm in Lanchester for their first ever school trip. The weather was a little dull as they left Cleadon but brightened up for their arrival at the farm. The children enjoyed feeding the lambs, holding a range of animals, a tractor ride around the farm and time on the indoor play equipment. We would like to thank all the parent volunteers who took the time to come and help on the trip. Well done, Nursery!

Blue Tickets
Due to their success last year, we will be pre-selling blue tickets for the Summer Social. The tickets are accepted on all game stalls and tombolas, however they will not be accepted on refreshments or by external vendors.

Pre-sales will take at the main entrance before and after school every day.
Tickets cost £1 each.
