Well it is our last day of the school year and we would like to thank everyone who has given us presents and cards, but most of all for your lovely words of appreciation which mean the world to us. Goodbye and good luck to all the leavers as you go to your new schools and nurseries, we will miss you all. X
We need a relief member of staff to cover illness etc as and when.

We want to put together a loose parts section in the garden, to encourage large scale construction.
If anyone has any spare off cuts of decking, pipes, guttering, pipe/guttering joints, etc we would be extremely grateful.

Choking hazards...
Sadly, two young children have died within days of each other after choking on food, one young child choked on a grape.
The size and shape of whole grapes means that they can block a child’s airway and can be difficult to dislodge with standard first aid techniques.
That’s why grapes and other round foods such as cherry tomatoes, blueberries and cherries should be chopped in half lengthways and ideally in quarters before being given to children.

Posts circulating on social media advising parents/ carers to go to their local pharmacy for Strep A testing and antibiotics are untrue.
Parents/carers who suspect their child may have scarlet fever are strongly urged to contact 111 or their GP for diagnosis as prompt treatment with appropriate antibiotics significantly reduces the risk of complications.
Pharmacies DO NOT offer a Strep A screening service and cannot supply antibiotics without a prescription.

Today was Emma's last day, as she moves on to another career. She has been with us for 14 years, so we are very sad to see her go. We know you will join us in wishing her good luck in her new job
