🎉🇨🇳This week we have celebrated Chinese New Year! 🇨🇳🎉

We have read ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’, used paint to create our own tigers, attempted to make fortune cookies (which we think the kids did a great job with!), had a go at using chopsticks to eat our lunch, made tiger caves and then crawled through tunnels pretending to be tigers ourselves! What a wonderful week we have had leading up to the end of term!

We’ve had musical song times, creative opportunities to make a Christmas tree decoration and a gift for our families plus some exciting Christmas themed tuff trays to explore 🎶🎄🚂

We ended our week with a Christmas party with lots of dancing, bubbles and games!

Did your little one enjoy the recent fireworks? We had fun recreating what we saw in the sky; we spoke about the colours and shapes we saw as well as the loud noise! We also searched for some sticks in amongst the leaves that may have been good for a bonfire 🎆🔥🎇
