I offer practical and exciting lessons (face-to-face or online to suit you and your child) in primary Maths or English - can support up to and possibly beyond Year 7, dependent on needs - or, indeed, any primary subject.

I offer:

* Booster lessons for Maths / English
* Strategies and games to help with learning spellings / times tables
* Home education
* Preparation for entrance exams to independent schools
* All lessons personalised to your child’s needs

I also have an MSc in Psychology so have a deeper understanding of childhood adversity and SEN and how these needs affect learning. I can work with your child to help manage any emotional or mental health issues.

I work with groups and 1:1.

Fees: £30 per hour.
Discount for groups.

FREE initial consultation.

From January, I have availability for tuition. I am a former primary headteacher with 20+ years of primary teaching experience. I can tutor before or after school, face-to-face (dependant on location) or online. I am also available to tutor anyone who is currently being home-schooled.

As a qualified primary teacher/headteacher, currently having a break from working in schools, I am starting my own tutoring business in the South Shropshire area. If you think your child may benefit from 1:1 or small group support outside of school, please drop me a message or give me a call and I can put together a bespoke programme to support them. It could be that they just need a boost in a core subject such as English or Maths, or perhaps some practice for the 11+ entrance exam. I can tutor your child in any primary subject!

I am fairly flexible and can accommodate your child any week day after 4pm and on Saturday mornings.

Learning should be fun and I will always endeavour to ensure that your child has the opportunity to learn in practical ways which are exciting and motivating.
