Some water got underneath the tiles in a bathroom and one came loose. Fortunately the owner had kept a few of the original ones from when the floor was laid, so it was a relatively straightforward forward job to smash the old one out and fit a new one ✅

If you have a problem with vermin coming in, wire wool packed into gaps and cracks, then filled with expanding foam makes a very effective barrier 🛑 🐭 🥊

Key safe fitted ✅

These push button ones are really good and easy to use - unlike the fiddly ones with the rotating dials - which you don’t want to be fiddling with when it’s freezing 🥶 and chucking it down !

These ones also have quite a large chamber so keys 🔑 don’t get jammed in the door when you shut it. So a good solution for a spare key - unless of course you give the combination to your teenage son who will find it impossible to return the key to the safe ! 🙄

If you’ve just had new carpets fitted, you may need your doors trimming - Michael and Henry can do that 👌 I’m not saying it’s completely dust free, but Henry has an appetite for dust and he’s a hard worker 💪 And by doing the cut in several passes and placing a scrap board beneath the line of the cut, the sawdust is contained and diverted down Henry’s feeding tube and not all over the soft furnishings !
This means I don’t have to take doors outside to trim them - very handy when working with fire doors up three flights of stairs on Victoria Ave 😬
