Last month we celebrated Roald Dahl's birthday at with story teller extraordinaire Rogan Mills Storytelling! We went on a hunt for the Golden Tickets, made some BFG dream catchers, coloured some bookmarks and enjoyed some yummy refreshments from the Friends of Barnoldswick Library. Thanks to the Friends for funding the event and for Rogan for enthralling the children

We've got a special treat for the kids this Saturday 10th September! Rogan Mills Storytelling will be visiting the market to entertain our visitors from 11am - 3pm.
Come and visit the market and let the kids imagination go wild as they enjoy an entertaining collection of stories, tales, poetry and much more.

We'll be showcasing local businesses that provide for our furry friends, including Pinwheel Pets (who we can personally vouch for) and the Theo Paphitis Small Business Award-winning Paws Right There UK (about to be featured in British Vogue! 😮).
There will also be family-friendly storytelling from Rogan Mills Storytelling from 12-3!
The museum is open 10am-5pm and the Walled Garden 12-4pm. Normal admission rates apply, so this event is free for our members!

This Sunday, Rogan Mills Storytelling will be doing drop-in family-friendly storytelling from 12-3!
He will also be returning on Sunday 21st and Sunday 28th August! Storytelling will be included with admission, which can be bought on the door or booked in advance online for a small discount.

I can’t wait to attend today and meet some new friends. I’ll be running workshops throughout the day which explore how to make your storytelling fun and interactive
Tomorrow is the free First Five Festival with the Foundation Years Trust!
The festival will showcase services in Halton for under 5s, and there will be story walks, craft activities, storytelling and dance, theatre and mindfulness taster sessions for under 5s.

Yesterday was really lovely and I’m looking forward to going back today. I’ll be around from 11.30am until 3.00pm
Today and tomorrow we have family-friendly storytelling with Rogan Mills Storytelling. You can also hunt for the mischievous Brooke the Badger and tell us how he's celebrating to be entered into a prize draw, or complete a jubilee-themed quiz trail to learn some fun facts about Queen Elizabeth II!
