We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Year 11 students on GCSE Results Day.

This year marks a significant leap forward in our top grades, with over half of all students achieving grades 9–7 across a wide range of subjects, including Biology, French, Further Maths, Fine Art, Textiles and 3D Design.

The breadth of achievement at Babington is equally impressive, with over a third of students achieving grades 9–7 in English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Spanish, Drama and Physical Education. These results showcase the incredible range of talent across literary, STEM and creative subjects.

Most notably, nearly twice as many of our students achieved the highest grades of 9–7 compared with the national average — a fantastic achievement that reflects their exceptional hard work, determination and resilience.

These results are a testament to the dedication of our students, the support of their families, and the commitment of our teaching and support staff. We are immensely proud of everything our Year 11 students have achieved during their time at Babington.

Our students will now take their next steps at a range of grammar, independent and local schools. We wish them every success as they begin this exciting next chapter.

🎉Huge Congratulations to our Year 13 Class of 2026🎉

Congratulations to all our A Level students on achieving a fantastic set of results today! Today marks the end of two years of hard work and dedication and we are delighted with the plethora of top university places that Babington House students have successfully secured.

The Undergraduate courses secured by our students reflect the diverse range of skills and talents that have been nurtured and developed during their time at Babington. We say goodbye today with a sense of great pride in all they have achieved, both academically and in their wider pursuits. We know that they have grown and developed into confident young people during their time with us, ambitious for their futures, and equipped to rise to the challenges of whatever life throws at them.

Exciting developments are coming to Babington House School this summer!

We are delighted to announce that our Governing Body has approved a significant programme of summer works at Babington House School. Representing an £800,000 commitment to enhancing our educational environment, these developments include the creation of the new Lello Learning Resource Centre, named in honour of our late Headmaster, Mr Tim Lello, alongside the transformation of our Nursery, Reception and outdoor EYFS areas.

As we look ahead to celebrating Babington’s 140th anniversary next year, these developments mark an exciting new chapter in our history and reflect our continued commitment to creating exceptional spaces where every pupil can learn, grow and thrive.

🚴‍♀️🥤 Fuel, Fun & Fresh Flavours on Sports Day! 🥤🚴‍♂️

What a brilliant addition to our Sports Day – the Smoothie Bike! Students powered their own delicious drinks by pedalling their way to perfectly blended smoothies.

A huge thank you to our amazing catering partners at Holroyd Howe for bringing this fantastic, interactive treat to life. From fresh ingredients to plenty of smiles, it was the perfect way to keep everyone refreshed, energised, and engaged throughout the day.

🏃KS1 Sports Day Success 🏃

Well done to all of our wonderful children who took part and gave their very best at our recent KS1 Sports Day! From the races to the field events, every child showed incredible resilience, enthusiasm, and perseverance. We are immensely proud of their positive attitudes and determination.

The event was a lovely opportunity to bring together our families, children, and staff in support of one another and the atmosphere was full of excitement and encouragement.

A special congratulations goes to House Nightingale, who were crowned our overall House Winners for 2026 - a fantastic achievement! 🏆
