🌳✨ First Forest School Session of the Year! ✨🌳

Our Reception class had an incredible start to their Forest School adventures at Babington House School this year! 🐦🎶 They explored the outdoors, learned to identify different bird calls, and had so much fun playing a game called Hide, No Peek.

It's amazing to see our little explorers connecting with nature and building skills through play and discovery. 🌿🍃 Here's to more outdoor adventures ahead!

We're thrilled to announce the winner of our Christmas Competition: 12 Days of Christmas – 12 Ways to Safely Cross the Road! 🎄🎁 This creative superstar has reminded us how to stay safe while spreading festive cheer.

Here are their 12 brilliant tips:

1️⃣ Stop, look, and listen before crossing. 👀👂
2️⃣ Always use a pedestrian crossing. 🚶‍♀️🚦
3️⃣ Hold an adult's hand if you're a child. ✋👶
4️⃣ Avoid distractions like phones or headphones. 📱🚫

A huge congratulations to Annabelle, the Winner of the Babington House School Christmas Card Competition 2024! 🌟🎨 Annabelle's beautiful painting of a festive robin stole the show and perfectly captured the spirit of the season. 🐦❤️

We are definitely getting fully into the festive spirit here at Babington. Yesterday our Chefs Whiskers after school club were busy making delicious Christmas cakes - yum! 🎄⛄🎁

We are delighted to be taking part in the Christmas Tree Festival with our very own Babington House tree in loving memory of our late Headmaster, Mr. Lello.

Our handmade decorations are adorned with our pupils special memories of Mr. Lello and the tree is perfectly topped with our very own Oscar - Mr. Lello's trusted furry companion.

Thank you to our wonderful Art department and our pupils for making this so special.

🌟 Stick Man Visits Nursery Stay & Play! 🌟

Our special guest, Stick Man, joined us at yesterday’s Stay & Play session, bringing smiles and adventure to all! 🌳✨ The children explored fun activities inspired by his story, from crafting their own stick friends to enjoying outdoor play and storytelling time. 📚🎨

A big thank you to everyone who came along – it was wonderful to see the little ones enjoying the magic of books and nature. 🌟

This week our Reception pupils have been exploring the book, ‘The Stinky Sprouts’ by Make Believe Ideas. To support their learning and to enable them to find out more about healthy food choices, the children received a visit from our Head of catering who put together a fantastic selection of vegetables for them to try.

The broccoli, houmous and savoury scones with hidden veggies were very popular! Yum! 🍅🍆🥕🌽

We are thrilled to announce that Sixth-Form superstar Evie, has been awarded first place in the KS5 Fashion and Accessories category at the ISA National Arts Competition 2024 with her incredible design, Vintage Corset🏆✨

Evie's beautiful corset showcases her incredible creativity, skill, and passion. 🎨💡

This week in Nursery, we celebrated the marmalade-loving, suitcase-carrying, kind-hearted bear from Peru who has brought joy to hearts around the world! ❤️
The children had great fun reading stories, making marmalade sandwiches and packing a suitcase for a different climate.
Whether it’s his quirky adventures, his love of sandwiches, or his polite (yet mischievous) demeanor, Paddington reminds us that a little kindness can go a long way. 🥪✨

Our Stay & Play session is for children wishing to join our Nursery or Reception.
The session provides the perfect opportunity to meet our Early Years staff and let your child play and learn... there might even be a special guest appearance!

Last week our Year 7 pupils enjoyed some team bonding on their first Senior residential trip to .warren

Adventurous learning was firmly on the agenda as they enjoyed a whole range of outdoor pursuits including zip lining, obstacle courses, orienteering and fun team building exercises.

The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all and many happy memories created.

We are proud to be an Associate Sponsor of the Christmas Market which is taking place on our wonderful high street on Sunday 24th November.

We can’t wait to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy this lovely family event, we hope to see you there! 🎄
