Recreating history with their wedding bands ❤️

These bands are Kate’s great grandmother’s rings from around 1880. Made in 22ct gold and resized with 18ct white gold for a modern twist of mixed metals that suits them beautifully.

Been a bit silent due to half term and then that rolled on a bit! Back to the studio next week with regular workshops 🙌

It was full effort straight to the end with the Beginner Silver Jewellery I group. The results are incredible ✨

From complete beginners willing to take the chance at learning a new skill and giving it all go - this group showed up every Wednesday evening and made some beautiful pieces. It’s been a pleasure having you all ❤️

I’m loving all these beautiful pieces made by the fabulous Beginner Silver Jewellery II group this term.

Over the course of 5 weeks, every Monday these women put everything else aside and let the outside world fall away while learning fold forming, tube setting & hollow form construction. Then bringing it all come together in their own individual project. Here are their results 🙌

A lovely fold formed pendant with tube setting, a show stopping silver fold formed cuff, and two fabulous hollow form pendants which need a little finishing up still after ages of soldering & filing 😉

A family of stunning stacking ring sets featuring strawberry quart, lemon green quart & garnet all handcrafted, step by step, in the studio today 🙌

Open Sessions are BACK!!

Open sessions are for anyone who has taken workshops but don’t have the tools or equipment to bring their design ideas to life!

Although these are not taught sessions, supervision and advice is always on hand.

More gorgeous Spinner Rings ✨

Today was back to back beautiful spinner rings in the studio and I’m loving it!

Most of these are made by complete beginners who have never made jewellery before - pretty amazing results 👏

I had the pleasure to host a private Spinner Ring workshop yesterday evening and look at these gorgeous rings they made ✨

This was organized as a Christmas gift for 3 sisters and 2 daughters to have an experience together rather than buying a commercial gift. The best part is they each had a fabulously fun evening out together, learned a new skill, and left with with beautifully handcrafted rings!

The Wednesday evening Beginner Silver Jewellery class was in full swing hard at work designing and piercing out their pendants or earrings from an sheet of sterling silver. Wait to see what they’ve come up with…

Exploring working with hollow form construction with the Beginner Silver Jewellery II group.

I could easily teach a whole term on this since we only get to scratch the surface fitting all the other techniques during the course. Hollow forms are like piecing together a puzzle with a lot of filing and the results are stunning!

This evening we absolutely rocked tube setting 🙌

Tube setting is one of my favourite stone setting techniques to teach and seeing everyone nail it like tonight is awesome
