Year 5 and 6 Football success! Farringtons attended the Bromley High School Football Tournament yesterday. Everyone played brilliantly, showing true teamwork and resilience throughout. The hard work paid off, with Year 5 finishing in 4th place and Year 6 winning their tournament!

Year 5 has been learning about NASA’s ‘Hidden Figures’, the female mathematicians Mary Jackson, Katherine Johnson, and Dorothy Vaughan, who were pivotal in the 'space race’ in the 1960s.
Pupils learnt about segregation at the time, such as coloured restrooms and men-only working environments. Through various literary lessons, they reflected on the necessity of an equal and inclusive environment.
Year 11 and 12 pupils are having a fab time exploring Kuala Lumpur, from visiting Chinatown and viewing the Petronas Towers to sorting wild monitor lizards! They are now heading to explore Malacca. Everyone is enjoying themselves and showing fantastic leadership in their specified roles, be it budgeting, transport, accommodation, food or passport checks!

Year 1 have been loving exploring the pond area in their Luceat lessons while learning about British Wildlife by participating in pond dipping and spreading seeds this term 🐸🌱

Farringtons attended the Bromley Schools KS1 Gymnastics Festival yesterday at Bromley Valley Gymnastics Club. Our gymnasts jumped, rolled and stretched through the floor and the vault elements and enjoyed exploring new and different equipment. Well done to all the gymnasts who represented our school, you were brilliant! A special well done to those who received an award!
Year 2 enjoyed visiting the animals at Wingham Wildlife Park yesterday. They spotted many animals, including flamingos, lions, tigers and penguins. They looked at the different habitats to consolidate their topic in Science 🦁🐯🐧
Year 11 and 12 pupils have landed safely in Malaysia and are excited to start their adventure! 🐢🐒

The Prep School celebrated the Harvest Festival yesterday with a Chapel service for parents. Thank you to everyone for donating so generously. All food donations will be given to Whitechapel Misson.
Year 10 had a fun day last week at Bletchley Park, the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers. The pupils participated in a deciphering codes workshop and a guided tour of the park. Some even have a turn at using the Enigma machine!

Year 4 have been doing lots of investigations in their Science lessons this term. They have learned how the number of cells affects the brightness of a bulb, which materials are conductors and insulators and created circuits 💡
