It’s the most wonderful time of the year… Call us crazy, but 2 weeks out from the tests and with summer skills week in full swing, this is one of our favourite times with students.

The focus, the motivation, the teamwork, the dedication - this is them at their best and we are so proud of them!

It’s been a year in the making… but we can finally launch our revision website ultimate11plus.com!

Since starting Bella Learning 9 years ago, it’s been hard to recommend the resources to use at home because nothing quite fit what the students needed for full preparation.

So we built something ourselves!

Gary and I have written every question in each quiz with our knowledge of the tests and how children like to learn.

We have had parents in mind who want to track and encourage.

And most of all we think we have created something that takes the stress out of revision, without defaulting to gamification or algorithms.

Just high-quality, expert-written resources that work - in a simple and easy to use format - with the choice of online or offline practice.

It’s not been a quick or easy project - but it’s been worth it! We are so proud of the finished product.

We are excited to offer a new creative writing class for budding authors in Ks2 and ks3! The class will offer inspiration for different genres of writing in a fun and free way, as well as tips on how to improve vocabulary and develop literary techniques. Perfect for those with big imaginations or those who want to prep for creative writing exams.

One question we often get asked about our home-schooling sessions is how we manage the range of ages.
Firstly, working with children outside your linear age is very beneficial. We love that our students get to support and learn from each other.
Secondly, as experts in primary education, we are able to tailor the work to each child based on their ability and next steps.
Finally, because we have multiple teachers, if children need to learn a particular skill like phonics or long-multiplication, we are able to split off into ability groups so each child gets what they need.

Was wonderful to get so many messages like this yesterday. We are always so proud of our students and how hard they have worked. Whilst the process can be tough, we truly believe each child ends up at the school that is right for them.
