📚✨ National Poetry Day ✨📚

This week, children across our school celebrated National Poetry Day by sharing their love of poetry with one another.

Pupils were invited to bring their favourite poems from home and had the opportunity to perform them in front of their classmates and friends. We were incredibly impressed by the confidence, enthusiasm and expression shown by so many of our children as they recited and performed a wide range of poems.

Throughout the day, we celebrated language, creativity and performance, helping our pupils to develop confidence in speaking aloud, broaden their vocabulary and discover the joy that poems can bring.

A huge well done to all of our budding poets and performers for making the day fun. We loved hearing your favourite poems and seeing your passion for reading and performing!
