Out of the Box Tutoring

With the start of a new half term, it feels like spring is finally on its way. I'm so looking forward to warmer outside opportunities.
You may have noticed some spring flowers have already bloomed and some haven't, but they all get there eventually. Just like us and our children!

To all of you who have liked or shared my posts. To everyone who has recommended me, and to all students and their families both past and present. I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas.

Whatever Christmas looks like for you, I hope you can spend it with loved ones and take time to remember your loved ones you cant.

I'm so excited for what 2025 brings and all of the new amazing students I will have the joy to meet.

I remember finding it hard to tell the time as a child, it didn't make sense to me at all. How can it mean 5 past when its pointing at a number 1?

I remember having to sit at the side of the swimming pool and complete my clock worksheet while everyone else got to swim and have fun.

Did punishing me for not understanding help me learn? NO!
Did I eventually learn to tell the time at my own pace? YES!

I offer tutoring working at your child's own pace, encouraging self belief and self worth. Learning is not a now or never thing but if children lose their self belief through shame and punishment learning gets a lot harder.
