Parenting any child requires a parent and their parenting to change and flex as a child grows. A child with ADHD or another additional needs can require a parent to acquire additional skills to support their development and behaviour. A diagnosis can help, sometimes medication. But as a parent you are still facing the same challenges.
Developing additional skills and support as a parent can help both the child , other children in the family and you as a parent.
Small changes can make big differences.
