Its been a sensory sensation so far this week! We have planted carrots and talked about healthy eating, shaped play-dough, splashed in water, enjoyed messy play and cooked up a storm in our mud kitchen!

Another as we look at exploring feelings, practiced our mark making, and made pictures using glue and different shapes. We played outside with our friends, checked our cress seeds to see if they are growing and had different textures in the tuff tray, all whilst having fun following the EYFS (early years foundation stage) framework.

As we approach half way through May we have certainly been reaping the benefits of our Outside play ethos, with some brighter and warmer weather making our outdoor spaces, mud kitchens, forest school areas, allotments, football pitches and nature walks across our settings come alive. This week we learnt about road safety and traffic lights ๐ฆ , planted cress seeds ๐ฑ and have watched them grow (learning about what plants need to survive ๐ฆ โ๏ธ ) We also created a mud area and explored different textures for the diggers ๐ using mud and shaving foam.
