We are proud to be hosting this bespoke session on Wednesday 4th November at 9am, led by our school's CAMHS specialist Community Advisor. It is going to be a very informative and open session, with the opportunity to ask questions about your own individual children at the end.

We really hope to see as many families there as possible.

REMINDER - Year 6 parents! We have some very important messages to share tomorrow and really hope you can attend.

Our Mental Health Offer hasn't changed, but has been re-branded!

We are proud to launch our brand new mental health offer to all children at Highfield Hall Primary School. Taking the principles from our mental health curriculum from the last few years, this year's focus is on embedding the knowledge and skills, whilst applying them in meaningful and purposeful ways.

As part of our Collective Worship sessions, children will be using the posters below to discuss different concepts including:
* the importance of taking big breaths to stay regulated
* talking about what they are grateful for and why it is important to recognise this
* identifying how our character may be different to other people's and why that is okay
* setting goals and having aspirations to help us to feel good
* practising active listening to develop positive and healthy relationships

Please take a minute to look at the video below to explain these concepts in more detail. Printed copies are also available in school for anyone that wants to be able to refer to them at home. Please speak to your child's teacher.
