Good morning.

Apologies for the delayed message - I have been waiting to contact staff and obtain more information with regards to the travel situation.

Due to ongoing weather and flood alerts affecting the number of staff who can safely get into school, and considering the health and safety of our school community, I have made the decision that school and nursery will be closed today.

I am sorry for the inconvenience that this will cause.

Mrs K Marsh.

Did you know that your local pharmacy can offer prescription medicine for some conditions, without your child needing to see a GP or make an appointment. This is called 'Pharmacy First'.

Conditions they can offer prescription medicine for children for are:

* Impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
* Infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
* Earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
* Sore throat (aged 5 years and over)

If you are not within these age ranges, a pharmacist can still offer advice and support decisions about self care treatment with over the counter medicines, but you may need to see a GP for treatment.

Your local pharmacy can also suggest treatments that do not need a prescription for a range of other conditions.

Remember to think pharmacy first✅

👂Earache?

👨‍⚕️Your pharmacist can now provide treatment or some prescription medicine, if needed, for seven common conditions, without you seeing a GP.
