The time has come… 👋🏼

I have made the decision to close The Neutrals Nursery!

I’m a big believer in everything happens for a reason. Back in lockdown, during maternity leave, I needed a creative outlet, and back then independents were thriving so it was the perfect time to start. I had finally found my forte and loved the community I was now part of. Over the last 4 years I’ve made hundreds of products and to think they’re all hanging in your homes is a real pinch me moment! 💫 I’ve loved making every single one (well, probably not every single one when my sewing machine plays up or my letters don’t cut straight 😵‍💫!) however, I’ve managed to gain star seller on Etsy and was a founding member of Holly&Co- amazing achievements.

Recently, I’ve been feeling slightly lost with what comes next for my little brand. I finished up 12 years of teaching this summer and started a new job in retail, my little boy started school (he’s my last so you can imagine the emotions!) and my OH also started a new job this month so it’s all change at home- starting new chapters. And to top it off I’ve been offered my dream job 🤭 an opportunity I cannot refuse. So, with all this in mind I feel it’s only right that TNN comes to a natural end. In the future it may be back, I’d never say never, but right now it’s time to say goodbye ☺️

I still have a new Xmas product to release next week and outstanding orders to make but as of October 31st I will cease trading. So, now is the time to order your flags and garlands people!! Get in touch before it’s too late 😜

Back to school 🏫

I have a school starter this year 🥺 and although I’m sad we’ve reached this point already, I’m actually quite excited to hear about everything he gets up to. Reception year is such a fabulous and fun year, latter years should take note!!

I’ve personally had some BIG changes at home. I’ve left my ‘proper’ job as a teacher and I’m about to embark on a new chapter of my book. It’s scary. It’s really really scary. I’ve constantly had to tell myself something along the lines of what’s written above, keep positive, keep making tracks- keep believing I’ve made the right decision!
Life’s too short isn’t it.
