Hi, I’m Mr N (Chris) – the tutor behind Mr N Maths Tuition!

I have over 13 years of classroom experience teaching maths across a wide range of settings, including UK state schools, private and boarding schools, and one of the top international schools in South East Asia. I’ve taught pupils at all levels, from Key Stage 2 through to A-Level, and I love helping every child reach their full potential in maths.

Whether a student is struggling with confidence or is gifted and talented and needs stretch and challenge, my sessions are always tailored to the individual. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing pupils go from “I can’t do maths” to “I’ve got this!” 💡

I genuinely love maths, and I believe learning it should be positive and enjoyable. My tutoring sessions combine clear explanations and proven methods with interactive learning and fun maths games, helping students feel relaxed, confident, and engaged.

👨‍👩‍👦 A little about me outside the classroom…
I’m a husband and a proud dad to a mischievous 15-month-old boy, owner of a lively cocker spaniel, and a big coffee lover ☕ When I’m not tutoring, you’ll usually find me playing golf, running (I’ve completed several half marathons and the Chester Marathon 🏃‍♂️), watching The Traitors, or building Lego whenever I get a spare moment!
